Head of Faculty: Natalie Hughes

Our Head of Faculty, Natalie Hughes graduated from the prestigious Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) with a BA (Hons) First Class degree in Music. Since then she has enjoyed an established career as a professional singer, working with industry luminaries such as music producer Steve Levine (Gary Moore, Stevie Wonder, The Beach Boys) and BBC Radio 2 DJ Mark Radcliffe, who described her as extraordinary.

She has performed live on Channel 4 (T4) for Jo Whiley and Alex James (Blur), and recorded her original work at the BBC Studios (Wood Nort on) and also at Blueprint Studios, Manchester (Elbow, Justin Timberlake, Johnny Marr).

Natalie has been singing since the age of 8, and throughout her career, has been privileged enough to receive voice training from Speech Level Singing professionals and song veteran Sir Paul McCartney. She has also enjoyed master classes from singer Will Young and songwriter Cathy Dennis (Can t Get You Out Of My Head, I Kissed A Girl).

Course Co-Ordinater: Graham Silbiger

Our Course Co-Ordinater, Graham Silbiger is a talented Multi Instrumentalist, Producer and Music Educator. Having worked with highly acclaimed acts including Soul II Soul, The JBs Horns and George Michael, Graham has also been a founder member of several of London's most influential live acts from the 80's and 90's Funk scene. This includes the likes of Savajazz, Pure Sex, Push, Vibe Tribe, FM inc, The Hotheads and Majik Pokit.

Graham always has his eye on the next rising talent, and his recent collaborations include vocalists Franny Whitfield, Sherene Ven Dyer and most recently the amazingly talented Mataniu. Currently completing Mataniu's album "Shapes Twinkling On Lullabies and Waves", Graham is also qualified Music Leader with a Cert HE in Music Leader Training. He provides instrument tuition for Bass Guitar and Guitar as well as teaching Music Production.

Producer Profile: David Holland

As one of our in house producers, David Holland is an experienced sound designer and accomplished musician. With eclectic taste in music, he has gained experience in many genres and styles.

Not only has he recorded and mixed music for BBC TV but his work with various bands included PB Underground, Pete Ray Biggin (Level 42, Mark Ronson) and Matt Cooper (Incognito). His credits span production, composition and arrangement for various bands including The Bridge, Bad Ass Brass, Show Without Punch (Lost Toys Records).

His background is very much geared towards older models of stereo recording on tape, but this is augmented with the modern in-the-box approach he has acquired from his experiences in writing music for TV and advertising.

Head Producer: Henry Rundell

Having 10 years of experience working in the music industry with such artists as Iron Maiden, Alice Cooper and Badly Drawn Boy. Henry Rundell has always been involved in the industry.

This includes organising tours and cross media promotion with Kerrang, Scuzz, Classic Rock and known others.

He has gained extensive experience in world leading recording studios such as Metropolis, London and NRG, LA. Having also worked alongside producer Matt Hyde (Bullet for My Valentine, Trivium, FightStar), Henry is a creative producer, as well as a published songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.

In House & Live Recording : Sonny Flint


As front of house live sound engineer, Sonny has several major festivals under his belt including Glastonbury Festival 2010. His release credits include various known acts including The Blockheads and the production of their double live album 30 Live at The Electric Ballroom.

Producer Profile: Roger Fife

Having worked extensively in the music industry over the past thirteen years, Roger Fife has recorded, produced and mixed a wide variety of artists, in the UK and the USA. He has worked in a wide variety of styles: electro, pop, rock, indie, electronic as well as acoustic and jazz.

Having numerous chart credits, Roger has worked with acts including Antony and The Johnsons, The Infadels, Nate James, Cyndi Lauper, Tricky (from Massive Attack), The Pretty Things, Zamza N'Banshee in Japan, Fat Boy Slim and many other bands and artists as well as on projects for Sony, Warner, Universal, VH1, HBO, ESPN (Usa). An experienced musician and arranger, Roger plays guitar, bass and keyboards, having been signed as a songwriter to Virgin Music Publishing and Island Music Publishing.

Other acts that Sonny has mixed include James Blunt, Das Pop, The Monks, The Magic Numbers, Florence and The Machine, James Burton (Elvis Presley's guitarist), Los Chinches, Lowline, Jefferson Starship, Natty, The Cropdusters, Hefner, The Flying Padovanis, The Pretty Things, Nick Harper, Phil Jupitus, We Are The Physics, Keane, Graham Coxon, Blurt, The Suffrajets, Hard Fi, Boy Kill Boy, The Rakes, Lucky Soul, The Rocks, Maximo Park, Roland Shanks, Smash, Bluetones mark morrison, Do Me Bad Things, KT Tunstal, Infadels, Special Needs, Ray, Metro Riots, Crash Convention, The Cribs, The Hot Puppies,The Young Knives, Towers Of London, The Yardbirds and a growing list.
